The effects of extra-curricular activities on the soft skills development of English major students at Ba Ria – Vung Tau University, Viet Nam

Abstract

This paper discussed the relationship between extracurricular activities and students’ achievement at university level. The study focused on the impact of extracurricular activities on the soft skills development of English major students at Ba Ria-Vung Tau University. The general result shows that there is a close relationship between extra-curricular activities and soft skills development. If the students usually join activities out of classroom, they certainly inprove their soft skills.
